Bat Facts
Bats usually only have one baby at a time although occasionally they'll have twins. They grow very fast and are hunting on their own quickly.

Bats use echolocation. This is how echolocation works. Bats send out a sound wave using their mouth and nose. When the sound hits an object, an echo comes back. The bat can identify an object by the sound of the echo. They can even tell the size, shape, and texture of a tiny insect from its echo. Bats use echolocation to navigate in the dark and find food.
